Death March To The Parallel World Rhapsody season 2 release date

There is currently no confirmation of any updates for the second season. However, this does not automatically indicate that the series has been canceled due to the lack of official reporting on the matter. Indeed, Silver Link, Connect and other companies involved in the show’s production have yet to comment on the status of the animated series. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the series probably won’t return in the future.

Although it is a series revolving around an almost arid genre in another world, in reality, the series is still highly appreciated by fans and critics at home and abroad. As a result, the studio and director behind the anime wouldn’t have thought of canceling a show as big as the death march.

The fact that the Season 1 finale ended with a big twist suggests that the studio may be trying to continue the story in the future. That’s why Season 1 fans are looking forward to the next chapter. There is no official announcement yet, but the community has the optimism to keep the series alive.

The plot of Death March To The Parallel World Rhapsody

Death March was first released on March 3, 2013, and began as web fiction that was later adapted into manga and anime. The manga was released in December 2014 and the anime series was announced based on the fourth volume of the manga released on December 10, 2016.

The animated series was produced by Makoto Onuma and animated by Silver Link and Connect. It ran for 12 episodes on ATX from January 11 to March 29, 2018.

The story of the death march begins with 29-year-old game programmer Ichiro Suzuki. Ichiro Suzuki was allegedly supposed to solve a glitch with two MMORPGs at the company he works for prior to their release. He had to work overtime on the weekend to fix the error. Unfortunately, the stress built up at his job put a strain on his body and made him weak until he died in his sleep.

Then he suddenly woke up in a parallel world, very similar to the fantasy RPG he was working on in the previous world. Now it is called Satou Pendragon in the New World. This is the nickname used when running beta tests in the old world.

What happened in season 1 (SPOILERS)

Suzuki has been in the game’s start menu since he restarted his life with the game he created in his previous life. Right in the middle of the situation, they were suddenly ambushed by a group of lizards, forcing them to dodge with three special “meteor showers”. But while he kills lizards, he also kills god, allowing his stats to increase significantly.

Realizing how bad the situation was, Suzuki was able to learn how to achieve the goal in the game and quickly find a way out. Armed with many advanced weapons and magical abilities in his arsenal, he is about to embark on a journey. During his travels, he met and befriended many allies, including Gina Marientail, Pochi, Liza, Tama, Alisa, and Lulu.
