Grace and Frankie Season 7 Release Date
Surprisingly, Netflix released the first four episodes on August 13, 2021. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin officially announced this through a video. As for the remaining 12, we have no news yet, production is currently still underway.
According to Deadline, the release of the first four episodes was possible because they were ready before the pandemic halted show’s production. We only know that it should be 2022. The release of the missing episodes of the last season could fall within the year. In any case, as always, we will update you as soon as we have more detailed information.
Grace and Frankie Season 7: Plot
Four months before the debut of season 6, Netflix announced the renewal for season 7 of Grace and Frankie, adding, however, that it would also be the final chapter of the series. On the occasion of the announcement, the protagonists Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin said, as reported by Deadline :
“We are both delighted and heartbroken that Grace and Frankie will return with a seventh, but final season. We are grateful that our show was able to address issues close to our generation and that of their children and incredibly their children’s children. We will miss these two old ladies, Grace and Frankie, as much as their fans will.”

How Does The Sixth Season End?

In the finale, Nick Skolka is arrested by the FBI. Grace’s new madman turns out to be a criminal accused of stealing money through financial fraud. Now that he is in prison, Grace and Frankie discover that Nick had placed $50,000 inside the sofa. This is the perfect sum to finance Rise, Grace’s new business venture. As we already know this consists of a toilet device that allows the elderly to get up easily. They had already presented the invention in the Shark Tank program, but Grace had turned down the offer of one of the judges out of love for her husband.
Things get even worse when the two women face forced cohabitation. Robert and Sol show up at the beach house. The prototype toilet has flooded their home, and now they have to live with their ex-wives for a certain amount of time. Bad news never ends. Sol and Robert think they owe them compensation for the damage done to the house.
