Outer Banks: 3 Shows To Watch While Waiting For Season 3!

Outer Banks

On Friday, July 30, season 2 of ‘Outer Banks’ premiered on Netflix, and the series starring Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, and Madison Bailey quickly ranked among the most-watched on the streaming platform.

Millions of subscribers have already devoured the ten episodes of the second season of the youth series and are looking forward to the arrival of the third season. To liven up the wait, we review three similar series that you cannot miss on Netflix:

  1. Riverdale

The first four seasons of ‘Riverdale’ are available on Netflix. “The passage to adulthood includes romance, school and family. For Archie and his friends, there are also dark mysteries,” indicates the official synopsis of the series.

Each season of the series has around 20 chapters, and the youth show stars Mädchen Amick, Cole Sprouse, Lochlyn Munro, Marisol Nichols, Luke Perry, Ross Butler, Sarah Habel, and Lili Reinhart.

Riverdale will be returning with the 11th episode of Season 5 after a big break on The CW and Netflix. It has been one of The CW’s most popular shows since its first season in 2017. Covid-19 had a significant impact on Riverdale as its fourth season was ended prematurely, and Season 5 of the show also arrived late. Back in April, it was officially announced that Riverdale would return to The CW on August 11, 2021, while fans can also watch it on Netflix from August 12, 2021.

  1. Control Z

‘Control Z’ is a Mexican youth series whose second season arrived this week on Netflix. “After a hacker begins to expose the students’ secrets in front of the entire school, the distant and observant Sofia sets out to discover their identity,” indicates the official synopsis of the series.

Each season of the series has 8 chapters and the show stars Xabiani Ponce de Leon, Ariana Saavedra, Lidia San Jose, Mauro Sanchez Navarro, Paulina Castro, Andres Baida, Ana Valeria Becerril, Macarena García and Michael Ronda.

  1. Young Royals

‘Young Royals’ is a Swedish youth series whose first season has been available on Netflix a few weeks ago. “Prince Wilhelm adjusts to life at the prestigious Hillerska boarding school. There he realizes that following his heart is more difficult than he had thought,” says the official synopsis of the series.

The series’s first season has six episodes, and the show stars Edvin Ryding, Pernilla August, Malte Gardiner, Frida Argento, Nikita Uggla, and Omar Rudberg.
