The teen Lockes have already announced Locke & Key Season 3 on Twitter via the official Locke & Key handle. Season 3 was rumoured to arrive just in time for the holidays, but no official word has come from the network. What about the third season of ‘Locke and Sey’?
The Show’s Background
“Locke & Key” follows the Locke family, who have always guarded a set of keys with supernatural abilities. Three Locke siblings currently hold on to the keys: Bode (Jackson Robert Scott), Kinsy (Emilia Jones), and Tyler (Jason Robert Scott) (Connor Jessup). Because they wanted to learn the details of a few specific keys, the wicked magicians who killed their father (Rendell Locke) got the information they needed to kill themselves.
Keyhouse in Matheson, the home of Rendell’s mother and uncle, is where the three siblings now reside. Problems at school, from their friends and family, and the most dangerous, the witches and demons who hold the keys, are all a part of their lives.
Season 3 has a lot of potential.
In Season 3, we will witness Tyler losing his memory of the keys since he is only a few months away from adulthood (The Adults cannot recall the magic keys) and his love Jackie (Genevieve Kang) has almost forgotten about the magic of the keys..
In Locke & Key Season 3, Ellie (Sherrie Saum), the most essential character from the first season, will return to the show. Having returned from the world behind the Black Door where she had been last seen in Season 2’s conclusion, she is plagued by the memories of her time spent there.
And now that Dodge is gone (for the time being), the Lockes will have to face with the fury of another demon, one whose wrath I believe is even worse than Dodge’s. According to Netflix’s Locke & Key Season 3 synopsis, the family members will get more keys from the Keyhouse.
The third season of Locke & Key is slated to premiere in the fall of 2015.
There is no release date for Locke and Key Season 3 as of this writing, but it will be on Netflix in 2022, according to the tweet above. According to Netflix Newsroom, the official teaser or trailer is expected to be released in February.
Seasons 1 and 2 of Stranger Things are now streaming on Netflix if you missed them and are a lover of fantasy and sci-fi shows.
