The new show from MCU starring Tom Hiddleston as Loki introduced fans to the multiverse concept, and luckily the action is not over yet. The second season of Loki is officially arriving at Disney+.
Loki: When Will Season 2 Release?
Those who have watched the post-credit scene of the finale episode would be familiar with the fact that Loki gave us the preview of the sequel. Despite the announcement in the first season itself, we don’t have a release date for the second season of Loki. However, we have a new piece of information that will excite you. According to Digital Spy, the second season’s production will start in January 2022, giving us a potential release date for December 2022.
More chances are that the streaming service will first opt to release other Marvel shows. Other than Loki, ten more MCU shows are waiting to make their way to the streaming service, including the much-awaited ‘She-Hulk.’
Loki Season 2: What Will Happen Next?
After the end of Loki Season 1, various speculations have been made about the show’s upcoming season. Though nothing is official, we have some things that can be assured.
The final scene of Loki Season 1 featured our beloved god of mischief trying to warn Morbius and Hunter B-15 about the danger of Kang, but the two failed to recognise him. With the multiverse concept being introduced in Marvel, one can think that Loki has dropped into another universe, but that’s not the case. If you have paid complete attention to the concept of TVA, you might be aware that there is only one TVA, and everyone, regardless of coming from different timelines, end up in the same TVA.
So what happened? Since Sylvie killed Kang during the confrontation, she made ways for the other Kangs to come into the sacred timeline. So that means that the messing with the sacred timeline made Loki travel back to the place where TVA was created. Loki is in the same universe, but the scenarios have changed since the death of Kang.
