Until April, we have a new trailer for Fantastic Beasts 3.
Aside from major production delays, Grindelwald has been replaced by Mads Mikkelsen, who replaces Johnny Depp as Grindelwald.
Despite this, the new picture appears to be nearing a theatrical release. Although the previous two films were mixed in quality, it is nevertheless an opportunity to return to Harry Potter’s wonderful world.
We may have two more films after the third, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The Secrets of Dumbledore, as well as the possible fourth and fifth films, are all here.
Fantastic Beasts 3 Release Date
Fantastic Beasts will hit UK cinemas on April 8, 2022. The US release date is April 15th, 2022.
The film was originally scheduled for release on November 12, 2021, but was pushed back to July 15, 2022.
The delay was announced after Johnny Depp left the franchise, and the coronavirus outbreak changed the film’s production schedule.
Following a one-day shoot in March 2020, additional sequences were slated to be shot in Brazil, a country affected by the crisis. Filming in the UK will resume in September 2020.
Fantastic Beasts 3 Plot
Warner Bros. seems to have realised that they needed to work on the Fantastic Beasts 3 storyline after the failure of The Crimes of Grindelwald.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Warner Bros CEO Kevin Tsujihara said that the second film didn’t perform as well as the first. “And J.K. Rowling is currently working on the third screenplay, which we will perfect.” It’s intriguing to see where she wants to take this.
“The biggest challenge is having a significant core fan base.” The fan community is anxious to learn more about these characters. You don’t want to terrify them. You want to be able to make a solo film that non-storytellers enjoy.”
Steve Kloves, who wrote all but one of the Potter films, has returned to help J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the exception). David Yates directs his eighth wizarding adventure, following four Potter films and two Fantastic Beasts features.
The tale of Newt Scamander will not be resolved in Fantastic Beasts 3. At the end of World War 2, Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald were supposed to face off in a spectacular duel. This implies that Fantastic Beasts 3 is just the beginning.
We also know the film will explore new Wizarding World territory. The first two films were set in New York and Paris, but this time Rowling stated on Twitter in November 2018 that the film would be set in Rio de Janeiro.
We may be attending Castelobruxo, the magical Brazilian school mentioned in the Harry Potter novels, as confirmed by Wizarding World.
We can predict more about the plot once we know when Fantastic Beasts 3 comes out. Because the next three films must cover 18 years to get us to 1945, it makes sense that there will be a large time jump between Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and The Crimes of Grindelwald.
So, where will the characters be in Fantastic Beasts 3? Will Queenie stay on Team Grindelwald? How is Credence adjusting to the fact that he is Albus’ long-lost brother, Aurelius Dumbledore? A blood contract bans Grindelwald from confronting the older Dumbledore, so Will Grindelwald has prepared him to face Albus. So, can Newt, Tina, and Jacob garner enough support to take on Grindelwald and his growing army?
The first teaser shows Dumbledore and Credence fighting, with Queenie siding with Grindelwald. However, Newt and his friends have gained support, and Grindelwald looks to be waging war against the muggle world. USA Today also posted an exclusive portrait of Newt and his brother Theseus.
After spent so much time world-building and creating the basis for the prequel saga’s eventual finale, we expect the Fantastic Beasts 3 plot to pick up the pace. Dan Fogler’s claim of a “major battle” seems to support this. Is that the one Grindelwald mentions in the trailer?
“I read the script and the character development is excellent and it stays true to the spirit of the previous film,” he told CinemaBlend in March 2020. “It’s leading up to this massive clash set in WWII, so amazing fighting scenes are coming.”

Fantastic Beasts 3 Trailer
“The world as we know it is collapsing,” Grindelwald says, “and Grindelwald is tearing it apart with hatred.”
“You must believe me if we are to beat him.”
Following Jude Law’s announcement, we were expecting the second trailer on February 24.
The film’s release date was moved back to February 28, giving additional magical action and hints for Dumbledore’s last showdown with Grindelwald.
Is there a Fantastic Beasts 4?
The fourth Fantastic Beasts film, based on the Harry Potter companion book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, is called “Fantastic Beasts 4”. The film follows 2022’s Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
Is Tina in Fantastic Beasts 3?
Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterson), who aided Newt in the previous two films, is also absent from this teaser. Secrets of Dumbledore is the third in the planned five-film Fantastic Beasts saga.
She was a major role in the first two films, and she appears to be returning in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. Tina’s role in the sequel has been speculated since she was omitted from the initial Fantastic Beasts 3 teaser. Tina appears briefly in the first Fantastic Beasts 3 teaser, but it’s not her. Leaving Katherine Waterston out of the trailer felt weird given her role in the film.
