When Jasmine Roth isn’t at home with her husband, Brett, and their daughter, Hazel, she’s probably wearing a hard hat! On the hit series Help!, the HGTV star assists families in transforming their failed DIY projects into the home of their dreams. I ruined my house.
The HGTV star, who recently partnered with Staples for its WFH Style Sweepstakes, which will give three lucky winners the opportunity to upgrade their work from home space, spoke exclusively with Distractify about Season 3 of her hit renovation series, her dream HGTV guest star, and why it’s important to give your home office a facelift.
According to Jasmine Roth, she is currently filming Season 3 of HGTV’s ‘Help! I Wrecked My House.’
In the HGTV series Help! I Wrecked My House, Jasmine “comes to the rescue of overzealous do-it-yourselfers,” according to a press release from the network. Jasmine and her team assist in repairing failed DIY projects and transforming them into dreamy spaces.
“We’re in full-fledged construction mode. This season, we’ll be doing ten houses. I already have five of them under construction. So we’re right in the thick of it “Jasmine told us about Season 3 of her popular renovation show.
According to reports, new Help! I Wrecked My House episodes will air on HGTV in the fall of 2022.
Jasmine advised those interested in embarking on their own DIY renovation project to plan ahead of time.
“They believe they have a strategy, but what they don’t realize is that their strategy is usually just to rip things apart. And they don’t necessarily have a plan to reassemble it. And that is usually the most difficult part “She stated. “So I would say that if you don’t have a plan from A to Z, your project is unlikely to succeed.”
She continued, “It’s not a good plan to say, ‘I’ll just rip everything apart and then we’ll figure it out.’ That is never the case.”
What Does Jasmine Roth Revealed About Which HGTV Star She’d Like to Collaborate With?
Renovation stars frequently cross paths on the network. On Rock the Block and A Very Brady Renovation, we’ve seen HGTV personalities collaborate. Is there a particular celebrity with whom Jasmine would like to collaborate on a project?
“My dream would be… Martha Stewart,” she said. “I’ve never met her before. I’ve never worked with her before. But I’d love to work with her because her career is so inspiring.”
She continued, “I could keep going. But Martha Stewart is now on HGTV. So I’m thinking, maybe one day I’ll get to work with her.”
We’d love to see Jasmine and Martha collaborate on a design project!
According to HGTV star Jasmine Roth, here’s how to update your home office space.
Let’s face it: in this post-pandemic era, many of us are still working from home. But that doesn’t mean your space has to be cluttered or uninspiring. Jasmine, who collaborated with Staples as part of its WFH Style Squad, created three distinct office looks to inspire others to find their own workspace style.
“I think there are definitely ways to make our own home offices feel like they’re [a space] where we can focus, a space where we’re encouraged to be creative,” she explained. “My first tip is to try to set aside a space just for an office if at all possible. I understand how difficult it is. I mean, I spent the first year and a half of my life at home working on my dining room table.”
Overall, Jasmine explained that decluttering and organizing is essential even if your space is limited.
Staples WFH Style Squad is giving three lucky winners the chance to win one of three $5,000 looks. To enter, visit staplesconnect.com/FindYourWFHStyle beginning May 17 (National Work From Home Day) and submit a photo of your current home workspace along with a brief description of why you need an upgrade.
