The Cycle: Frontier Twitch Drops | What Is the PS4 Release Date?

YAGER has kicked off a new Twitch Drops campaign to give players a chance to get free, time-limited in-game items in honor of the release of The Cycle: Frontier Season 1.

The Twitch Drops at the Frontier, The Cycle campaign, is broken down below.

The Cycle: Frontier Twitch Falls: Schedule

Every day for 18 hours from June 23rd to July 4th, YAGER will be hosting seven The Cycle: Frontier Twitch Drops, for a grand total of 84 drops to be claimed by each player.

The drops later in the day are rumored to have a higher chance of producing rarer items. Getting every drop possible will increase your chances of obtaining a legendary item, which is already quite low.

The developers at YAGER have written that they have worked to “balance the rarity” of the items so that they are valuable enough to warrant the effort required to obtain them, while also being “few and far between” enough to prevent a significant negative impact on the game’s economy.

Each Drop Day or Period Begins and Ends at 6 a.m. ET

Similar to other Twitch Drop campaigns, this one encourages players to connect their Twitch and gaming profiles and rack up the hours spent watching the various streams.

On certain days of the campaign, players will be required to watch Partnered Creators and Affiliates in order to earn drops, while on other days, players can enable drops while streaming in The Cycle: Frontier category on Twitch.

Up to six usable items and one cosmetic item can be acquired daily in The Cycle: Frontier.

Bags, Armor, and Weapons are some of the randomized in-game items. There is no set pattern to the rarity of the items that drop, but anything from “Common” to “Legendary” is fair game.

Season 1 of The Cycle Frontier is now available for purchase on PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) and will run until September 11.

How About Release Date for the Cycle: Frontier?

There is currently no information available regarding a release date for The Cycle: Frontier on the PS5 or PS4. The game has not been confirmed for these systems, and it’s possible it never will be.

Just now, after an Early Access period, The Cycle: Frontier is available for purchase on PC. The game can only be played on a personal computer.

Although YAGER has not confirmed or denied the existence of console support for The Cycle: Frontier, players are anticipating it due to the fact that YAGER’s previous title, Dreadnought, was compatible with the PS4’s previous-gen system.

In terms of performance, the PS5 would be better suited to The Cycle: Frontier’s open-world, high-population environments. However, other ambitious games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty: Warzone have held their own on the previous-gen PS4.

After the PC release of The Cycle: Frontier, Yager’s future plans for the game are unclear. Players on consoles will hopefully find out soon whether or not they will need to invest in a gaming PC or subscribe to a PC streaming service in order to play the newest game.

Fortnite’s season 3 week 2 quests are now available, and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 features a new Fortune’s Keep map, among other changes and additions.
