An examination of the life of the Honorable Greg Mathis Sr. Two of the judge and Linda Mathis’s adult children, Jade (now 37) and Greg Jr. (now 33), return to Los Angeles to try to figure out their lives.
Their children Camara, 34, and Amir, 31—both of whom have made Hollywood their permanent home—are also eager to talk about their experiences in the industry, relationships, and more.

Judge Mathis has never been shy about speaking out on global issues. In a recent interview with Page Six, he discussed Will Smith’s punching of Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards. Mathis argued, from a legal standpoint, “When you assault someone, in my opinion, you are committing a crime.
Assault is never justified, regardless of how humiliating or shameful the victim may feel afterward.” He went on to say that he understood why Smith was so upset with Rock for making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, the 53-year-old wife of the ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ alum Will Smith.
Furthermore, he disclosed, “I can’t go out in Detroit without risking getting smacked.
