Lily Collins, the show’s leading lady, and producer, previously expressed her desire to return for a third season: “I hope viewers find more of themselves in different characters and feel seen and represented in the show,” she told Glamour in a December 2021 interview.

“I really hope we get a season three because I really want to come back and do this again.”Lily also discussed how the third season can play into the major cliffhanger viewers saw at the end of season 2 in a December 2021 interview with People.

“I don’t know what she’s going to do yet.” “I keep asking,” Lily told the publication. “However you decide, you know it will be full of drama, fashion, and a lot of fun and romance.” If we get to do it, I’m ready to make whatever decision comes my way.”

According to People, Jeremy O. Harris, who played Pierre Cadault’s nemesis, Gregory Elliott Dupree, on the show, would like to see the fashion designer stir up more drama in season 3.

“Now that he’s no longer Pierre Cadault’s nemesis, perhaps he can be his ally, causing havoc for Emily.” Gregory also needs a boyfriend, and there are so many cute boys on the show! If someone that Emily or anyone else doesn’t want is around, Gregory seems like a good candidate to take them.”

Costume designer Marylin Fitoussi revealed that she has ideas for a potential wardrobe even before the third season was picked up. “My dream for season three is to reuse costumes from season one,” she told Elle.

“I’m not sure if we can do that, but I’d like to bring some of Lily’s most iconic outfits to the recycling workshop and see what they can do with recutting and making.”

What Will the Third Season of Emily in Paris Be About?

Fans were left with a major cliffhanger at the end of Season 2. Emily’s career may take a different path depending on what she decides to do. If she stays with Savoir and the Gilbert Group, Madeline, her boss from Chicago, will most likely promote her.

After Sylvie, Luc, and Julien depart from Savoir, Sylvie invites Emily to join a new team in Paris. Lily Collins told ELLE that she is “dying to know what that decision is, ’cause I don’t know” about Emily’s cliffhanger phone call.

The actress admits that she hasn’t been told what Emily’s next job will be, and she is “genuinely as confused as Emily was.” “They’re like, ‘Okay.'” says Collins. And then you’ve decided and you’re just going to say it,’ and I’m like, ‘Okay, but what is it?’

Emily is in a relationship with Alfie, her British beau, who is returning to the UK for work, but she realizes she still loves Gabriel. Unfortunately for Emily, Gabriel has reconciled with Camille, leaving her alone.
