Hancock has only been connected to the toilet for a year. Because of this, there are already a lot of people interested in this series’ new location. Season 2 of Toilet-bound Hanako-Kun is already one of the most eagerly awaited, and its audience is gearing up for its debut.
As a result, they’ve had no word on when it’s going to materialize. So, what can we expect from the second season of Hanako-Kun, the toilet-bound hero? Find out more by reading on.
The Japanese drama series Toilet-bound Hanako-Kun is kept under wraps. Adaro’s similarly titled spiritual drama Manga has a lot of fun with this.
Lerche Studio produced an anime series of 12 episodes based on this story. From January 10, 2020, to March 27, 2020, it was in effect. Fans have been waiting impatiently since then to see him on the big screen again.
What Is Hanako-kun’s Story About?
Hanako-san, one of Komame Academy’s Seven Mysteries, is the subject of many rumors within the school. On the third floor of the old school building’s girls’ restroom, Hanako-san, a spirit who has made a home in the third toilet compartment, grants summons to anyone who calls out to her.
This haunting toilet also attracts Yashiro Nene, a high school freshman with amorous aspirations. Because of the occurrences, he takes on the role of Nene Hanako’s personal assistant and works to keep the spiritual and physical worlds in harmony.
Hanako-Kun Is in the Bathroom
Lerche Studio has previously produced excellent anime, such as ‘Given’ and ‘Kanata no Astra.’ The studio’s latest production, ‘Jibaku Shounen Hanako-Kun,’ features stunning animation, an intriguing plot, and a slew of endearing characters. Despite the fact that it started out as a light-hearted comedy series, it has a lot of depth and a few somber moments.
The series transforms into a magnificent work of horror anime as it delves deeper and deeper into the underlying mysteries of the institution. With two seasons left, we expect it to continue to improve on what it’s already accomplished.
Season one introduces the characters, but their inner lives are never revealed. The sequence of events is a mystery as well. With the possibility of a second season, the show’s depth will be increased.
Anime’s Manga History
The anime is based on the manga of the same name by Iro Aida, as we indicated at the beginning of this page. Square Enix publishes the manga series in Japan, where it debuted in 2014. The English translation of the series is published by Yen Press. Fortunately, the manga is still going strong.
The manga series has already sold more than 6 million copies, making it one of the best-selling mangas of all time. As of this writing, there is no English translation of the manga’s 16th volume, which was released on April 27, 2021, in Japan.
Only the first seven volumes of the manga were adapted for the anime’s first season. So there’s plenty of material for fresh seasons to be made. It appears that the manga won’t be a problem for the project.

No, Hanako-Kun Will Not Return for a Second Season
Toilet-bound Hanako-Kun has yet to be revived for a second season as of November 22, 2021. Both Square Enix and Lerche haven’t said anything about a second season. Until we have further information, all we can do is guess.
If the anime is well-liked and the source material is adequate, we can predict whether or not it will be renewed for a second season. As far as viewership goes, there don’t appear to be any issues, as the show’s numbers are adequate.
Sales of discs were the only thing that was lacking. The anime only sold about 1500 discs. Considering the disc sales alone, it appears to be a failure, but we should not overlook the fact that the exclusive distributors have a significant impact on sales.
Many exclusive distributors in Japan distribute the animation, which is immensely popular in the country. (D Anime Store, Amazon Prime Video, U-Next, and Netflix)) By publishing the animation, these distributors are generating additional revenue in addition to disc sales.
There are several positive signs for the next season. In terms of popularity, the show came in at 391st place on Myanimelist, which is more than enough to warrant a second season. As far as manga goes, how about that?
Hanako-Kun Season 2 Premiere
Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun Season 2 has yet to get an official announcement from either the studio or the manga’s creator. Fans will have to wait a little longer to see this show because it won’t air until 2020. As a result, creating a new season will take some time.
Since there is such high demand for a second season due to the series’ high ratings and sales of manga, a second season may be released as soon as 2022 said to internal sources.
The plot content that needs to be animated isn’t as crucial as the other factors. A total of seven volumes were adapted for the first season, although the manga’s storyline now spans 16 volumes.
Because the studio already has adequate content for the upcoming season, this could suggest that the project will go forward soon.
However, no official announcement has been made regarding the release of Season 2 of Toilet Bound Hanako. In any case, you can count on us to keep you updated on the newest developments in this series.
We don’t have any trailer for this season.
