Walt’s story ended in season 5 (SPOILER ALERT!) but the overall storyline went on. Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan didn’t write and direct the eagerly awaited film El Camino until years later, which continues the story of Jesse beyond season 5.
Running for roughly two hours without commercial breaks, it’s very much like the sixth season of Breaking Bad.
It was interesting to see El Camino premiere on Netflix instead of AMC, but it was a testament to the success of Breaking Bad on Netflix.
Early adopters of the show who had heard positive things about it began watching previous episodes on Netflix before the new seasons aired on AMC.
AMC commissioned a spinoff series named Better Call Saul instead of Breaking Bad’s sixth season.
The star of the spin-off, which debuted in the second season of the original show, is Saul Goodman, played by Bob Odenkirk. Breaking Bad is currently in its fifth season, which focuses on Saul’s life previous to the events of the show.
Breaking Bad season 6 is hinted at in the flashbacks in Better Call Saul and the spinoff film El Camino. However, the fates of numerous characters remain a mystery, including the following: How about Walt Jr. and Skyler, for instance?
After the death of their father and husband, they are likely to have had peaceful lives and hence their stories do not need to be verified.
In Better Call Saul and the El Camino spinoff, Breaking Bad season 6 is hinted at. Some characters’ fates are known, while others remain a mystery. For example, what happens to Walt Jr. and Skyler? Assuming their father and spouse had died, it’s safe to infer that they returned to a more normal lifestyle.

He and his wife live in New Mexico with their cerebral palsy-afflicted adolescent son, who is now in high school.

Examines how a terminal diagnosis affects a man’s morality and makes him a major player in the drug trade.
Because the first five seasons of Breaking Bad were so good, fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of a sixth season. This season of Better Call Saul has just begun on AMC and Breaking Bad season 6 isn’t likely to premiere before then.
If Vince Gilligan gets the itch to write the sixth season of Breaking Bad, it may happen. For the time being, we can relax and take pleasure in Better Call Saul and El Camino.
