Peter Julian Robin Morgan, CBE (born April 10, 1963), is a British dramatist and screenwriter. He is the author of The Audience and Frost/Nixon on the stage and The Queen (2006), Frost/Nixon (2008), The Damned United (2009), and Rush on the big screen (2013).
The television films The Deal (2003), Longford (2006), and The Special Relationship were written by Morgan (2010). He is the creator and showrunner of The Crown on Netflix (2016–present). Morgan was given a British Film Institute Fellowship in February 2017. (BFI).
