“The Kissing Booth 3” has just started on Netflix, so fans are already asking for a sequel. There would be potential.
“The Kissing Booth 3” brought a stirring ending for Elle, her great love Noah and her best friend, Lee. We are not the only ones wondering: Is “Kissing Booth” over after part 3? The end of the current Netflix film offers enough potential for a sequel, after all, it wouldn’t be the first time that more parts of “The Kissing Booth” have emerged from the ground.
*Spoilers for the third part*
What’s Next After “The Kissing Booth 3”?
The third and so far last part of the “The Kissing Booth” series revolved around Elle’s important decision for her future: Would she go to UC Berkeley, as she had planned with her best friend Lee since she was a child? Or would she visit Harvard, where her romance Noah goes? After some back and forth, Elle decides for herself and goes to the USC.
However, like all other important decisions in life, this decision does not remain without consequences. The relationship between her and Noah broke down even after the six-year leap in time. After all, the friendship between Lee and her is still as strong as ever. The final scene shows Elle and Noah on a motorcycle – does that suggest the two will approach again? So “Kissing Booth 4” could be about how Noah and Elle venture into a relationship again, while Rachel and Lee’s engagement (and eventual wedding) could set the stage for it.
When Is “The Kissing Booth 4” Coming?
So far, there is no official information from Netflix. A fourth part of the successful film series has not yet been ordered. It isn’t easy to say whether and when a fourth part will ever appear. What speaks for it, “The Kissing Booth” is based on a book by the author Beth Reekles, who had only written this one book before the success of Part 1 on Netflix and was busy with the sequels.
So if “Kissing Booth 3” runs successfully on Netflix, there would be nothing against starting the fourth part. Thanks to the leap in time, the film’s writers are no longer so tied to realism, after all, the actors are now roughly the same age as the characters. We can only wait and see if Netflix and Reekles give us the fourth part. We would celebrate it.
