Shoresy Season 2: Release Date | Is it Confirmed Officially or Cancelled?

‘Shoresy,’ the much-loved foul-mouthed side character from ‘Letterkenny,’ returns for his own sport-centred comedy show. Shoresy is now a member of the Sudbury Bulldogs, a struggling AAA hockey team, and vows never to lose another game.

Of course, fulfilling the promise necessitates some of Shoresy’s unique creativity, which is accompanied by his trademark shockingly colourful language.

Shoresy Season 2

‘Shoresy,’ written and created by Jared Keeso, who also plays the central character, is a godsend for fans of ‘Letterkenny,’ particularly the titular character.

Critics have also praised the series for reintroducing the unique brand of humour that made Shoresy so popular in the first place. With season 1 completed, let’s take a look at what we know about season 2 of ‘Shoresy.’

Shoresy has been a member of the ‘Letterkenny’ team, which is a bit eccentric, since joining Reilly and Jonesy’s hockey squad during their first season. His appearance has not been seen despite appearing in multiple episodes throughout the seasons.

He is only known by his hockey number, 69. Furthermore, his famous business card is his loud shouting, which usually involves Reilly and Jonesy’s mothers doing inexplicably sexual things to him, much to their mother’s chagrin.

It’s a Letterkenny that can do things like Keeso and Tierney can do in a few seasons of Shoresy. The typical Letterkenny episode consists of many loosely connected sequences; however, Shoresy provides a single narration throughout the season that documents the characters’ efforts to transform their noisy team.

Shoresy Season 2

It is Letterkenny’s foundation. The team that created the show, which performed admirably and is even more stunning because of the actors in it, is mostly made up of new faces. The most memorable is Shoresy.

Who is frequently seen with hockey stars Reilly and Jonesy and Jonesy, only to constantly mock their boring attitudes? If you’re a big fan of the show, you’ve probably heard the savage phrases he uses to motivate the other hockey players.

Who Could Appear in Shoresy Season 2?

Jared Keeso, who plays the foul-mouthed titular character, leads the cast of ‘Shoresy.’ Tasya Teles plays Nat, the team owner, and Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat plays Shoresy’s trusty sidekick and teammate, Sanguinet.

Blair Lamora (Ziigwan), Keilani Elizabeth Rose (Miigwan), Ryan McDonell (Michaels), Camille Sullivan (Lauren), and Laurence Leboeuf play supporting roles. The three Jims are played by Jon Mirasty, Brandon Nolan, and Jordan Nolan.

We anticipate that the cast members mentioned above, as well as the majority of the others from season 1, will reprise their roles in the potential season 2. There may be some new cast members as well as some familiar faces from the ‘Letterkenny’ cast.

Release Date for Shoresy Season 2

‘Shoresy’ season 1 premiered on Hulu on May 27, 2022. It debuted earlier, on May 13, 2022, on Crave, a Canadian video-on-demand service. Season 1’s six half-hour episodes were released all at once.

Shoresy Season 2

There has been no official word on whether or not Season 2 has been greenlit. However, if Keeso’s other project, ‘Letterkenny,‘ which has completed ten seasons, is any indication, we may see at least a few more seasons of ‘Shoresy.’

The show’s particular brand of humour is one that can keep audiences entertained for many seasons. Season 1 concludes with Shoresy’s team, the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, ready to begin the upcoming hockey season, which bodes well for a possible season 2.

Furthermore, because the show is part of the ‘Letterkenny’ universe, other fan-favourite characters may cross over or make cameos in ‘Shorsey.’ Of course, the show’s first season’s viewership figures will be a key factor in approving potential future seasons.

However, with Keeso’s sense of humour intact and the influx of ‘Letterkenny’ viewers, things look promising for the spinoff. Overall, we anticipate a potential ‘Shoresy’ season 2 in late 2022 or early 2023.

Recap of Shoresy Season 1

The season begins with a sports talk show sponsored by Bro Dude Energy Drink (one of the show’s many ‘Letterkenny’ references), on which the panellists discuss some of hockey’s dirtiest tricks.

Shoresy, unsurprisingly, is the dirtiest player, and we then see some of the titular character’s worst offences on (and off) the ice. Despite his celebrity, Shoresy’s team, the Sudbury Bulldogs, has 20 losses this season, and the team’s frustrated owner, Nat, has threatened to disband the team.

Shoresy Season 2

Shoresy devises a plan to save the Bulldogs in order to prevent the team from folding and also because he despises losing. He quickly assembles a team of gritty, brawling former hockey players. Three prison guards named Jim are also hired as defenders.

The changes appear to be successful for the Bulldogs, who are renamed the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs to appease investors. The team advances to the season finals after two victories and a brawl that results in a cancelled match.

Unfortunately, the Bulldogs will be facing the Soo Cyclones, who are widely regarded as “just so good!” Nerves begin to set in before the game, and one of the team’s stars, JJ Frankie JJ, departs for Quebec to win back his girlfriend. Shoresy turns to one of the backup players in desperation.

Unfortunately, there is no trailer for Shoresy Season 2 at this time, but you can watch its season 1 trailer and enjoy the previous season.
