Rainbow Six Siege New Season: Release Date, Patch Notes, Operator Changes and Everything!

Rainbow Six Siege should come out in the seventh year. People are still deciding if this really is Siege’s year, even though the first season is almost over. One thing that everyone wants to know is when the next season will come out.

Ubisoft hasn’t been able to give a reliable release date for a season until a week or two before it’s supposed to come out.

Rainbow Six Siege New Season

Since the test servers are gone, and the patch notes are out, we know that the new season is almost here. Let’s talk about when Operation Vector Glare will come out for Rainbow Six Siege.

Rainbow Six Siege Vector Glar Patch Notes

Even though the season has been pushed back, the patch notes are out, and Vector Glare will bring some big changes. Even though there were some good chances last season, one of the best ones was the addition of a new map. With the changes this season, Vector Glares wants to shake up the meta.

Rainbow Six Siege Year 7 Season 2 will officially launch on June 7, 2022, on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

LMG and Finka Balance

Even though there are no statistics listed right now, both LMGS and Finka will be changed in some way this season. Since the season is getting pushed back, we may see these changes when the season comes out.

Screen Shake Intensity Option

In the Accessibility section of the Options menu, players can now turn off or change how much the screen shakes when they play. Everyone has been in a situation where they were about to shoot someone when something went off nearby.

This makes your whole screen shake, which can make it hard to aim and concentrate. Vector Glare will add a setting to the accessibility settings so that screen shake can be turned off or made less strong.

Even though this change is meant to help people who got sick from the screen shaking, a lot of regular players will be glad to get rid of a distraction even more so since this doesn’t cost the player anything.

Crouch Walking Volume

Added more sound to the footsteps when crouch walking. Even though a patch note doesn’t say much about this change, it is a big one. In Siege, it’s second nature to flank, and the best flanks are the ones that come out of nowhere.

Slowly crouching up behind the whole attacking team will be much harder now that the sounds you make are closer to the sounds you make when walking normally. On the official Rainbow Six Siege website, you can watch a video that shows how the change works.

Operator Changes

Added 3rd secondary weapon option

  • Amaru – ITA12S
  • Clash – P-10C
  • Dokkaebi – C75-AUTO
  • Finka – GSH-18
  • Glaz – Bearing-9
  • Gridlock – SDP 9mm
  • Kali – P22 Mk5
  • Lion – P9
  • Tachanka – Bearing-9

Glaz Armor Class Change

To 1-Armor and 3-Speed (from 2-Armor, 2-Speed). When you add this change to Glaz’s new Bearing-9 secondary, it makes a big difference.

This changes Glaz from an operator who sits outside and tries to get kills through smokes and windows to an operator who blows up the door to the enemy base.

Rainbow Six Siege New Season

Even though he still can’t beat Ash and her R4-C, he can still be a useful operator to get in and clear a site while the rest of the team plants and then provide great cover after planting.
