Many anime lovers, both seasoned and newcomers, fell in love with the work of the Japanese studio Ufotable. The studio adapted Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and they produced two critically praised, action-packed seasons.
Those who have watched Demon Slayer are aware of the anime’s strengths. With fights that flow like water and animations that feel alive, its graphics are nothing short of spectacular. Additionally, everything fits the brutal, unforgiving tone, especially with the shivers and motivational personalities they offer.
The anime’s first season, which debuted in 2019, ignited a fire of popularity. Since then, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, a movie, and Demon Slayer: Season 2, a television series, have both been produced.
But fans want more than just two seasons and one film. As a result of a chain of events, Demon Slayer: Season 3 was just revealed. Some of the new characters are known, and the manga arc it will cover has been disclosed.
But when will the third season of Demon Slayer premiere? The solution to that question, which has been bothering the fans for a while, may not be simple.
Demon Slayer Season 3: Cast

Kana Hanazawa will voice Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, one of the new(ish) characters, and Kengo Kawanishi will play Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito.

Demon Slayer Season 3: What Is Season 3 of Demon Slayer About?
The Swordsmith Village arc, which spans Chapters 100 to 127 of the manga, is the storyline that takes Tanjiro and his company to the Swordsmith Village in Demon Slayer: Season 3. Check out the first trailer, which only includes a few brief sequences from Season 3 and shows Tanjiro with a new sword and an ally.
The previous season’s Entertainment District arc, which focused on Tanjiro’s experiences, precedes the new one. Tanjiro joins new protagonists in Season 3, giving us brand-new Demon Slayer characters.
You are cool with knowing who the newly confirmed characters are if you don’t mind learning spoilers. Tanjiro travels to Swordsmith Village with two Demon Slayer Hashira: Mitsuri Kanji and Muichiro Tokito (the Mist Hashira) (the Love Hashira). Oh yeah, and the demons. With the sketch the animators published, it’s almost certain that you’ll see one or two Upper Moons.
Those who finished Season 2 will likely recall that Tanjiro damaged his dependable sword in the final battle of the Entertainment District storyline (again, be careful with the spoilers).
Tanjiro and his comrades visit Swordsmith Village in the forthcoming arc. The name of the place pretty much tells you why they’re heading there. Of course, there will be demons along the way.
At the very least, those characters and that plot can be safely anticipated. However, this information could alter given the ambiguity surrounding Demon Slayer: Season 3’s real substance.
Demon Slayer Season 3: Release Date
As much as we’d like to know the precise release date for Demon Slayer: Season 3, we can only guess. Sadly, Ufotable has not provided any information regarding the “when”.
However, a review of the studio’s historical work reveals a pattern of consistency in its output. Their fresh content is often provided between set intervals. Therefore, the release date of the newest Demon Slayer anime chapters can be predicted.
Yes, there is a (very slim) chance that it will be launched in the fall or winter of 2022. But if that were the case, a statement would have been out by now.
The Ufotable Studio typically operates on an annual basis. A little over a year passed between the first arc of Season 2 and the Mugen Train movie, and another year passed between the movie and Season 1.
The second and third seasons will most likely be separated by a year. The release of Demon Slayer: Season 3 in 2023 should be anticipated. While some hopefuls anticipate a January to April window in the following year, the majority of people see mid- or late-2023.
However, it is impossible to affirm that the third season will debut on that day. We have no idea if it will be released tomorrow or in ten years. Just completely focus on breathing for the time being.
Demon Slayer Season 3: Trailer
