Invincible Season 2: Does Invincible Season 2 Have a Release Date?

Fans of Amazon’s Invincible, one of the best superhero shows to have ever been published, are clamouring to know when Season 2 will be made available on Amazon Prime Video.

We’d like to know when the second season will be released because the show has gained a lot of popularity on Amazon’s streaming service.

Since the first season of the new, popular animated TV show finished in 2021, this has been on our minds.

Since the first season of Invincible came to an end on April 29th, we’ve been keeping a close lookout for any information regarding the release date of the second season.

Invincible Season 2: Expected Cast

Except for Yeun and Simmons, nothing has been confirmed, but we anticipate the following actors to return for Invincible season 2:

  • Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson/Invincible
  • J.K. Simmons as Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man
  • Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson
  • Zazie Beetz as Amber Bennett
  • Jason Mantzoukas as Rex Sloan/Rex Splode
  • Ross Marquand as Rudy Conners, Kursk and Bi-Plane
  • Mark Hamill as Art Rosenbaum
  • Gillian Jacobs as Samantha Eve Wilkins/Atom Eve
  • Andrew Rannells as William Clockwell
  • Walton Goggins as Cecil Stedman
  • Khary Payton as Markus Grimshaw/Black Samson
  • Malese Jow as Kate Cha/Dupli-Kate
  • Grey Griffin as Shrinking Rae and Amanda (Monster Girl’s human form)
  • Kevin Michael Richardson as Monster Girl/the Mauler Twins
  • Seth Rogen as Allen the Alien
  • Mahershala Ali as Titan

Invincible Season 2

Robot’s voice was provided by Zachary Quinto in season 1, although it’s uncertain if he’ll be used again. As the first season made clear, Robot was Rudy Conners’ artificial host body.

Rudy Conners had genetic abnormalities that initially prevented him from surviving outside of his saline tank. Ross Marquand now voices Rudy when Rudy’s consciousness was transplanted into his new clone body in episode 7.

Therefore, we are unsure of Quinto’s status. Robot plays a significant role in the comics, but it’s unclear whether those incidents will be featured in Invincible seasons 2, 3, or beyond.

Invincible Season 2: Expected Plot

We got a preview of season 2 of Invincible from the first series. What’s the plan in the interim? asks Mark Grayson when speaking to Allen the Alien (Seth Rogen). The show concludes with images of several dangers that Mark will have to face in the future in a humorous montage.

The Sequids invade Mars, the intergalactic Flaxans prepare for battle, Titan (Mahershala Ali) develops into a full-fledged crime lord, and Battle-Beast (Michael Dorn) decimates extraterrestrials in space.

Without revealing the fact that D.A. Sinclair, the crazy scientist, now works for Cecil Stedman at the Global Defense Agency under the supervision of Walton Goggins’ character, Cecil Stedman. In essence, Mark will have a lot on his plate. Remember that Omni-Man is still alive someplace, and Invincible will eventually have to face his father once more.

Invincible Season 2

He will need to have Earth ready in case the evil empire decides to invade now that he is aware of Viltrum’s true nature. In the comics, the yellow and blue-suited hero must contend with Immortal Man’s scrutiny after the latter survived Omni-vicious Man’s attack while simultaneously collaborating with Cecil and the Guardians of the Globe to protect the Earth from different dangers.

But when Invincible travels to a strange planet to save a race of creatures resembling mantises, he discovers Omni-Man ruling over the entire planet from a throne. Interesting.

Fortunately, he will also have to assist the Coalition of Planets in preventing the Viltrumites from colonising other planets and spreading throughout the universe. But Robert Kirkman revealed to ComicBook.com that one of Invincible’s primary antagonists, the dimension-hopping Angstrom Levy, will play a significant role in Season 2.

He “truly shakes things up,” the author wrote. If you’re familiar with the comics and have seen the TV show, you’ll have a good idea of where the second season is headed if you carefully consider how we adapted the first season’s story.

Invincible Season 2: Release Date

Invincible season 2’s release date hasn’t been officially announced, but if there aren’t any changes soon, it appears likely that it will air on Amazon Prime Video in 2023 rather than 2022 as fans had initially anticipated.

Although an unexpected fall or winter 2022 debut isn’t completely out of the question just yet, a 2023 premiere date is now looking more realistic given the lack of big updates lately and the fact that animated shows can take a long time to make.
