This is merely the beginning of Kanan’s development into a ruthless criminal in Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
Even before the first season of Power’s Raising Kanan, the show’s second spin-off, had begun running, it has already been renewed for a second season in July of 2021.
Kanan, now played by Makai Curtis, was first portrayed by 50 Cent as a fresh-faced adolescent before evolving into the cold-blooded killer we see in Power in this prequel set in the 1990s.
There’s a cliffhanger for the upcoming season when Kanan attempted murder on his own, and the program didn’t hold back in revealing his participation in a crime.
Season two of Power Book III: Raising Kanan is here, so read on for all the details.
What’s in Store for the Upcoming Season?
The second season will take up where the first one left off, Makai Curtis, who stars in the program, has revealed in a separate interview.
“It’s basically the continuance of acts and consequences,” he told Entertainment Weekly when asked for further details. Ahead, “you’ll witness how it molds and molds Kanan’s character” and “what it does to his mind,” according to the show’s writer. “
It is up to them to find out where they can step and where they can’t stop now that they are in an altogether new area with a completely different dynamic, according to him.
Currently, a slew of complex concerns is in play. This is ridiculous, to put it mildly.
In addition to Patina Miller and Hailey Kilgore, the cast of Raising Kanan also includes Omar Epps as Detective Malcolm Howard; Malcolm Mays as Uncle Lou-Lou; London Brown as Uncle Marvin; Joey Bada$$ as Unique; Quincy Brown as Crown Camacho; Toby Sandeman as Symphony Bosket; Shanley Caswell as Symphony; and Toby Sandeman as Toby.
LeToya Luckett, a former member of Destiny’s Child, will play Kenya, the mother of Jukebox, in the forthcoming season.

The Season 2 Plot of Raising Kanan!
In Raising Kanan Season 2, we expect Raq and her team to bear the brunt of the fallout from Det. Howard’s shooting. Howard made a full recovery after he was hurt.
In any case, we have a feeling Howard won’t reveal who shot him, preferring to handle things on his own. What will happen to Raq if Det. Does Howard decide to retaliate against him?
Symphony drove Kanan to Maryland, where he assumed he’d be with relatives. Either he’ll get to know the area and try to set up the business and smuggle narcotics there, or he’ll return to Queens too soon and cause even more problems for Raq to clean up after. The latter is more likely…
Relocating her company from the street corners to a single location was a big step for Raquel. Her two-level flats make this a logical strategy for moving the stockpile.
Once the structure is discovered, it will be difficult to move goods and money in and out. As far as we can tell, Raq will be able to solve that problem, too.
Lou Lou wished to leave the drug trade and devote his time and attention only to his newly formed music career. Raq, on the other hand, refuses to let him go. Telling him he’ll never get out of the game.
In fact, she’d want to have their sand moved about the firm. For the second season, we expect the new record label to play a significant role.
In order to guarantee her new plug’s collaboration, Raq needs to cope with a commitment she made. Marvin’s death is part of the deal.
The bloodied jacket, the testimony of a drug addict, and shady footage showing a person departing the scene are all evidence against Niq.
We wonder if this will hold up because the most significant eyewitness knew who shot him and questioned why the gunman was wearing that jacket before he pulled the trigger.
Because he was falsely accused of murder, Unique would create havoc on Raq’s organization. The only thing left for her to do is eliminate him!
Does Raq have the ability to survive? It’s possible that Kanan will end up in prison for trying to kill a cop (his father).
Will Toni be able to get Marvin out of jail? What will happen to Lou Lou if he quits the game? Stay right here and be a part of the group. To get a better look at your inbox, send us an email.
