Ahsoka Release Date: When it Will be Premiere? Latest Updates 2022!

Ahsoka, one of the most anticipated Star Wars original series, will debut on Disney+. The next episode will feature Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s former Jedi Padawan and star of the 2008 animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Rosario Dawson will reprise her role as Ahsoka in the new limited series.

Currently, little is known about the show, although production is slated to begin in 2022. Disney revealed in 2020 that the series will be set “within the timeframe of The Mandalorian.” Assumedly, the plot will take place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi.

Here’s all we know about Ahsoka, the new Star Wars series.

When Will Ahsoka Come Out?

The Book of Boba Fett comes out in December, and the Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor series is set for release in 2022, so we may expect Star Wars: Ahsoka to come out in 2023.

According to reports, Season 1 of Star Wars: Ahsoka may begin filming earlier than expected, in December 2021.

Who Is the Ahsoka Cast?

Star Wars: Ahsoka stars Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano. Ashley Eckstein voiced the character in Star Wars Rebels and The Clone Wars.

“I know how much Ashley means to the fans, and I know how much she means to this role,” Dawson told StarWars.com. “I realise it’s a different sensation and space to bring this beloved figure to life. I wanted it to be like another Ahsoka storey.”

Dawson nailed Ahsoka’s signature appearance in The Mandalorian, right down to her sparkling blue eyes.

“Dave [Filoni] was unsure whether I should wear contacts or not.” “I’d tried them on before,” she said. “You can’t do this to me,” I thought when we were talking about the fans. That will not do.’ That made a huge impact. Because we’re on set, you have the entire headgear, outfit, and world—great, with these gigantic screens, you feel everything. You’ve got sabres. But then the contacts come in and you’re dropped into this character. “I wasn’t Rosario, I was Ahsoka.”

In addition to Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, and Ivanna Sakhno as a brand new character created expressly for the series. Fans have been clamouring for Mena Massoud, who played Ezra Bridger in the live-action Aladdin. When asked about the rumours, he said he was “just manifesting, just manifesting, doing different things”. The only thing else I can say is that I had heard rumblings that this part was coming, and now it is. It’s all part of manifesting what you want, so I simply wanted to throw my hat in.”

Theories About Ahsoka

Ahsoka Release Date

While the Disney release gave us little information about Ahsoka’s storey other than the fact that it takes place around the same time as The Mandalorian, we may have gotten some indications in season two.

It was revealed that Grand Admiral Thrawn (played by Ezra Bridger) vanished with one of the series’ main protagonists (Jedi-in-training Ahsoka).

This tease suggests that Ahsoka will be following Dawson’s hero in his pursuit of Thrawn (and saving Ezra) over several episodes.

As a result, we may discover more about the characters in this new series.

So, Who Is Ahsoka Tano?

Dave Filoni developed Ahsoka Tano for The Clone Wars animated feature and accompanying TV series (Filoni created and showrunner the Ahsoka Disney+ series). She is a Togruta and Anakin Skywalker’s young apprentice in the Star Wars universe.

During the Clone Wars, Ahsoka fought with Anakin and Obi-Wan, but she quit the Jedi Order after being wrongfully accused of several murders (even after being cleared, she lost faith in the Jedi Council for the mistake).
