The heartbreaking first teaser was released on July 23 during Marvel’s epic presentation at Comic-Con and announced that T’Challa’s death would be a part of the storyline, following Chadwick Boseman’s terrible death in August 2020.

Since then, we’ve got another trailer, which means there’s, even more, to look at for clues about what the sequel will be about and who will play the eponymous superhero. So far, this is all we know about the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever film.

When Will Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Be Released?

After a postponement in October 2021, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will now be released in theatres on November 11, 2022, according to Digital Spy.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Plot

What we do know about the script for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is that it will be an emotional roller coaster. Many cast members have expressed how bizarre it seems to be making this film without the beloved actor.

The existence of Atlantis had already been hinted at with an easter egg and casual remarks in Iron Man 2 and Avengers: Endgame. In the comics, Wakanda and Atlantis have previously gone to war, with disastrous results.

If this ends up being the true narrative of the upcoming film, it will undoubtedly be a visual spectacular. However, because Wakanda is landlocked, it is unclear how the Atlanteans intend to launch an invasion. But hey, if that didn’t stop them in the comics, it’s likely they’ll find a way here as well.
