NFT Gaming: Mike Shinoda doubles down on vouching for NFTs in gaming

Mike Shinoda, a popular musician and online content creator, faced a slew of criticism for his support of NFTs and their potential application in video games. The 44-year-old actor has now clarified his first remarks.

There are still many people who aren’t sure if blockchain games are authentic or not, and this is a completely new phenomenon in the gaming industry.

Mike Shinoda, on the other hand, is a firm believer in the unique appeal of owning the media that he interacts with, and even a tsunami of angry Twitter comments hasn’t changed his mind.

Game designer Mike Shinoda is still a strong supporter of NFTs.

When Shinoda returned, he addressed the issues raised by his initial post on the subject as well as those that he believed had been miscommunicated throughout the incident.

His initial reaction was to sympathise with the idea that NFTs in gaming were just another method for publishers to generate money from their community.

“Our duty as creators is to learn and imagine; take the position ‘What might work?’ instead of ‘Why won’t this work?'” the rapper said thereafter. “Our job as creators is to learn and imagine; take the position ‘What might work?’ instead of ‘Why won’t this work? “, the rapper said.”

Adding weight to his argument, the venerable musician cited how this new form of distribution allowed him to sell 5,000 unique digital copies of his generative mixtape “Ziggurats” and get royalties from those sales immediately, a feat that is unprecedented in the music industry.

Ending with this warning: “If you’re going to work with NFTs, you must give, not take. You’re battling a headwind at this point. To make a lasting impression on them, you’ll need to put in a lot of time and effort.”
