Every Disney Movie To Release In 2022

2021 is now over, and it’s time to look forward to finding out which Disney and Pixar films will be out in 2022. The titles are many, and in fact, it promises to be a year of joy between cinema and Disney+. All the Disney, Pixar and 20th Century Fox movies are coming in 2022.

The King’s Man – The Origins

The first film in 2022 by Disney is a title of 20th Century Fox or The King’s Man: The origins. The film is the prequel to the Kingsman: Secret Service movie. It will release on January 5, 2022.

The plot explains that, as the worst tyrants and criminals come together to unleash the Great War and thus make millions of people die, one man will have to fight against time to stop them.

The Nightmare Alley

Disney’s 2022 releases also include Guillermo del Toro’s Nightmare Alley, a film adaptation of the 1946 novel Nightmare Alley written by William Lindsay Gresham, already on the big screen with the 1947 film. The film will release on December 17.

The plot will be about Stan Carlisle, an ambitious carousel with a talent for manipulating people with a few select words, who meets Dr Lilith Ritter, a psychiatrist even more dangerous than him.

Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette, Willem Dafoe, Richard Jenkins, Rooney Mara, Ron Perlman and David Strathairn are cast.

Murder On The Nile

In 2022, Death on the Nile will also be the sequel to the film Murder on the Orient Express and the film adaptation of the 1937 novel on Poirot Agatha Christie Nile. It will release on February 11 2022.

The plot explains that, while on vacation on the Nile, the world-famous detective Hercule Poirot sets out to find the killer linked to a mysterious love triangle. Kennet Branagh, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders and Letitia Wright are in the cast.

Turning Red

The first Disney Pixar film to arrive in 2022 is Turning Red, the 25th feature film produced by the animation studio. It will release on March 11 2022.

The story tells of Meilin “Mei” Lee, a self-confident and clumsy 13-year-old, torn between remaining the respectful daughter of her mother and the chaos of adolescence. As if the changes to his interests, relationships, and body weren’t enough, he transforms into a massive red panda every time he gets too excited.

Sneakerella

Among the Disney films of 2022 will also arrive Sneakerella, a reinterpretation of the classic animated film.

The plot revolves around El, an aspiring sneaker designer who works at the shoe shop that belonged to his now-deceased mother. The young man hides his talent from his stepfather and stepbrothers, who constantly trample every opportunity that presents itself to him.

Lightyear 

The second Disney Pixar film arriving in 2022 is Lightyear, the 26th feature film produced by the animation studio. It will release on June 17 2022.

The story is about legendary space ranger Buzz Lightyear preparing to experience the origins of his first adventures. The film will tell the story of the astronaut who has the toy line of the homonymous character from the Toy Story universe.

Strange World

The Walt Disney Pictures announced its 61st animated feature film, Strange World, in 2022. The film will release on November 23, 2022. This story will be about the adventures of the Clades, a legendary family of explorers intent on completing one last, incredible mission.

However, the differences between the family members will jeopardise the company’s success, who will have to learn to live together for the plan to be carried out.

Avatar 2

Among the Disney films of 2022, there will also be the long-awaited sequel to Avatar. The film will release on December 16 2022.

Thirteen years after the original film’s events, Jake Sully and Neytiri have formed a family. However, due to an old threat, they are forced to leave their home and explore the different regions of Pandora. In the cast, Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder and Matt Gerald.
