Billie Eilish announces Disney+ Concert film for upcoming album – Happier Than Ever

In addition to her sophomore album Happier Than Ever, Billie Eilish releases her concert movie. The film is to premiere on Disney+ on Friday the 3rd of September and is called Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles. See below for a trailer.

Robert Rodriguez and Patrick Osborne directed the Los Angeles Children’s Choir (LACC), and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, which features Eilish and her brother, and collaborator Finneas. In the Hollywood Bowl the film was shot.

Billie Eilish said in a statement: “Disney is incredibly iconic and collaborating on something like this is a big honour.” “It’s so exciting to be able to present this album to the city in which I love and grew up. I hope you love it.”

Happier Than Ever, the follow-up of Billie Eilish to her debut, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, arrives on Friday, July 30. “My future,” “Therefore I Am,” “Your power,” “The Lost Cause” and “NDA” are recorded.

The director Rodriguez added to the statement that – Rodríguez added: “Here in our community we are all great admirers of Billie and Finneas. They are world class talents and it’s so a working on this film with them and it is a true honour. The way the story and the animated pieces intertwine with its amazing concert performance turns it into a truly spectacular event.”

Eilish sat with Vevo before the Disney+ announcement and filmed her live performance videos to discuss the album for her forthcoming release version. “I wanted to make a very timeless record which was not only timeless in what other people thought, but timeless to me,” the singer-songwriter explained. “Many old artists have inspired me to love [the songs on the album]. I believe, are very versatile.” “I’m very inspired.”
