In March 2016, France 2 said that they were making a second season. The first episode of this show aired in France on March 15, 2017. Sandra and Justin are on the hunt for a serial killer whose method is to kill all the ex-lovers of the people he kidnaps.

Review of “The Witnesses: Season 2

When a show starts with fifteen frozen bodies being found on a bus, you know it’s going to get dark. The Witnesses – The Complete Season 2 takes viewers to a dark place, but the frozen bodies aren’t the most disturbing thing about this French show.

SEE ALSO:

When 15 frozen bodies are found on a bus, it’s up to Detective Sandra Winckler (Marie Dompnier) to figure out who they are. Catherine Keemer (Audrey Fleurot), who has lost her memory, shows up on the street.

Her only memory is of her missing baby boy, and it’s soon clear that the two things are linked. The second season of The Witnesses is about murder, kidnapping, and the abuse of children in the past.

There are a lot of different threads to the story, and it could be easy to get lost in all of them. Thankfully, this isn’t the case, and most of the credit goes to Marie Dompnier and Audrey Fleurot’s performances.

Witnesses Season 2

Catherine Keemer, who Fluerot plays, is hard to trust at first, but she is the key to finding out the truth. Winckler stops following the rules because of what she does, and she ends up on a violent path that leads to success.

At first, she seems cold, but as the story goes on, the audience starts to feel sorry for her and worries that her violence is going too far. The Witnesses do a good job of showing why rules should be broken when the stakes are so high.

Detective Sandra Winckler is a lot like Keemer in many ways, but at first, she cares a lot more about following the rules. When her life or the lives of people around her are in danger, she breaks the rules, even if it means putting herself in danger.

It feels like there is a real danger, and sometimes it feels like a bit too much. But when the story is over, we can see that it was all worth it even though the costs of what she does are questionable and have cost the lives of some innocent people.

Witnesses Season 2

The second season of The Witnesses has a story that sometimes gets a little bit scary. There are crimes from decades ago, and the story gets darker as more of it comes out. Near the end, a few episodes, especially the second-to-last one, feel like they could be cut, but the last one is worth it.

The second season of The Witnesses is good for people who like shows with a Nordic Noir style, even if it sometimes gets a little more disturbing than some people may be ready for.

When the most shocking thing in a show like this is that there are frozen bodies on a bus, you know that things are bad. This is a great show to watch because it goes into the darkest parts of the human heart.
