The sixth season of the American comedy shows The Office began airing on NBC on September 17, 2009 and ended on May 20, 2010. There were a total of 26 episodes made for the season.

The Office is an American version of a British TV show with the same name. It is a mockumentary that shows the daily lives of office workers at the made-up Dunder Mifflin Paper Company branch in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

In the United States, the sixth season of The Office aired on Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. On September 7, 2010, Universal Studios Home Entertainment put out a four-disc box set of the season on DVD for Region 1.

The DVD set has all 26 episodes, and some of them have commentaries from the show’s creators, writers, actors, and directors. It also has bloopers and scenes that were cut from all of the episodes.

On Halloween, the Office is putting together a “Haunted House” for the kids in the area. And Michael falls into a Koi pond during a very important business meeting. Pam and Andy make cold calls to try to get more sales.

09. Date twice

Jim and Pam have run out of reasons not to go out with Michael and Helene, so they have no choice but to do so. Dwight, on the other hand, is doing strangely nice things for everyone in the Office.

10. Murder

Michael’s life is turned upside down by rumors about Dunder Mifflin that aren’t good. He makes the Office do strange things all day, which upsets Jim and makes other people wonder if Michael has gone crazy. Andy, on the other hand, finds that his own awkwardness makes it hard for him to date Erin.

11. Shareholder Meeting

Michael is happy when David Wallace asks him to be honored on stage at the Dunder Mifflin shareholder meeting in New York. He invites Andy, Dwight, and Oscar to go with him. Jim is having trouble getting Ryan to do his work.

When Michael realizes he can’t keep a promise he made to a group of kids 10 years ago, he has to face the music. In the meantime, Jim starts a program called “Employee of the Month” to boost the morale of his staff.

Michael is furious when Jim lets Phyllis play Santa at the office Christmas party. Jim and Dwight try to get everyone in the Dunder Mifflin office into the holiday spirit, even though things aren’t sure. Oscar, on the other hand, has a secret crush.

When a possible buyer comes to Dunder Mifflin, Michael, Dwight, Andy, and Pam pull out all the stops to show him how well-connected they are. Michael thinks back on all the fun times they’ve had at work.

15. Sabre

When Sabre takes over Dunder Mifflin, Michael finds it hard to accept the new rules he makes. Pam and Jim are trying to get into a local daycare, and they have an interview. Andy and Erin work on a welcome song for Sabre while Erin waits for Andy to ask her out.

16. The Salesman and the Manager

The Office is excited for Sabre CEO Jo Bennett to come to Scranton, and her Southern ways have impressed everyone. But when Jo finds out that there are two branch managers, she says that either Michael or Jim needs to go back to being a salesman. Meanwhile, Andy’s plan for Valentine’s Day goes wrong.

Michael thinks he made an impression on Jo, but it turns out that she was more interested in someone else in the office. On Jim’s first day back from paternity leave, Dwight stirs up trouble. Andy and Erin’s first date is a lot of fun.

20. New Prospects

When the sales staff gets too excited about Sabre’s new “sales is king” policy, Michael hides their most valuable new leads.

21. Drinking time

When Michael goes all out to impress a friend of Jim and Pam’s, the bar kicks him out. Andy and Erin, on the other hand, try their best to keep their relationship a secret. Dwight rethinks his agreement with Angela before she gets pregnant.

22. Day of the Secretary

Andy does everything he can to make Erin’s Secretary’s Day one she will never forget. Michael takes Erin out to lunch against his will and let’s slip that Andy is seeing Angela. Oscar, meanwhile, shares a video he made that says Kevin’s voice sounds like Cookie Monster from Sesame Street.

23. Body Language

Pam and Jim make their first sales pitch to Donna, the manager of a local restaurant, while working together. But Michael keeps misinterpreting what she’s trying to say. Dwight tells Kelly that she should try out for the minority training program.

24. Hiding the Truth

Michael thinks Donna is cheating on him, so he asks private investigator Dwight Schrute to look into it. Andy, on the other hand, is upset that no one is listening to his customer’s complaint.

25. The Dumbass

After hearing some bad news about Donna, Michael is surprisingly happy. Pam and Jim have trouble staying awake at work now that they are parents. Angela, meanwhile, takes matters into her own hands when Dwight doesn’t keep the deal they made.

The press finds out that Sabre’s printers catch fire. Jo goes to the Office to try to find out who is telling the truth. Everyone thinks Andy leaked the information, but he says he didn’t do it.

The Nielsen ratings for viewers aged 18 to 49 showed that the sixth-season premiere of “Gossip” was seen by 4.0 percent of people in that age group. 8.21 million people watched the episode.

The show ranked 17th in the 18–49 demographic ratings for the season, with an average score of 4.0 in that group. Compared to the first episode of the fifth season, “Weight Loss,” the number of viewers dropped by 18%.

The season finale, “Whistleblower,” had 6.60 million viewers and a 3.4 rating/10 percent share in the 18–49 age group. This is a 3 percent drop from the fifth-season finale, “Company Picnic,” which had a 3.5 rating/10 percent share in the 18–49 age group.

With an average of 7.80 million viewers, the season also ranked 52nd in the total number of viewers for the whole season.
