10 rarest and most expensive Funko Pops EVER!

All Funatics know that collection can be expensive. I’m sure your collection already contains some valuables. It can be difficult to pinpoint exactly which items are skyrocketing and worth months or years after they’re released.

In most cases, items released for a very limited amount over limited events are likely to increase in value. It’s not psychic to speculate that one of Freddie Funko’s rare 50 characters will be worth it in the next few years, especially if hoarders are likely to get it. But if like us, you’ve been collecting for a while, you may have seen the object soar up in terms of price and be surprised at it.

Maybe you bought this regular Disney Princess Pop! It’s cheap at your local hardware store, and after a few years, you’ll find that people are selling it on eBay for 10 times what you paid for. Or maybe you already have the latest releases on sites like Pop Price Guide / HobbyDB and Ozzie Collectables, and you’re well placed to identify such popular new releases that will actually be released after filing.

No matter where you are as a collector, you’re sure to find something to admire in our 10 rarest and most expensive Funko figures to date.

1. Mickey Mouse (Metallic)

With a rarity of 1/480, a silver variant of this popular mouse was released for San Diego Comic-Con in 2011 as part of Funko’s exclusive Comic-Con lineup. Estimated at $ 1,130, this is definitely a mouse you want to keep safe in your home.

2. Superman (Metallic Chase)

Did you notice the theme? Before the two variants released by Funko both became metal versions (and everyone and their uncles started buying these reprinted molds), especially in variants. This DC Superman Pop! Released in 2010, a popular bobblehead doll has arrived exclusively for Target. Therefore, if you come across any of them on your local target shelves, you can expect $10 in your pocket on average. What is your current rate recently? That’s right, $3,700.

3. Stranger Things – Hopper (Gold)

Stranger Things became all the rage in 2018. The hype spread to Funko’s ComicCon event. As part of the Fundays 2018 event, they released a limited edition of 40 of this shiny gold version of the hopper. It was great to have enthusiastic Funatics and ComicCon attendees, but unfortunately, the price has skyrocketed for those who want to get it right away. These days, you’re lucky enough to find one for less than $ 4,110.

4. Freddy Funko as Chocula (Metallic)

Here is the metal again! Any enthusiastic fanatic will say Freddie is his beloved mascot. Usually exclusive to Comic-Con events or Funko stores, but this isn’t the first time the brand has released a cool new character variation that anyone can participate in, it’s exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con 2011. He is very popular with such limited releases. It sells for about $ 5,000 in today’s market.
