Top Strongest Dragon Ball Z Characters Ranked

Dragon Ball Z has everything you’d expect from a teen action series. Thrilling action, lovable characters, and incredible transformations have helped the characters reach new heights of power rarely seen in previous films. All these aspects are taken from the sequel to the series, Dragon Ball Super. Dragon Ball Super came out on top in most categories. It goes without saying that people will want to know the strongest character in Dragon Ball Super. This is a question that will be answered now.

10.  Super Buu

Super Buu is a dangerously shaped Buu created by the evil Buu who ate Good Buu. This Majin Buu is very strong and very angry. This version of Majin Buu gets angry very easily, and if the anger is large enough, the dimensional wall is said to have been torn down.

In addition to Majin Buu’s power and manic traits, what makes Majin Buu extremely dangerous is his ability to absorb other warriors. He can even absorb Gotenks (a combination of Gohan and trunk form), Piccolo, and Ultimate Gohan. Of course, Super Buu may not be a threat to Super Saiyan Blue Goku or Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. However, at the time, Super Buu was absolutely terrifying and could only be defeated by Vegetto, a fusion of Goku and Vegeta.

9. Ultimate Gohan

Gohan is said to be Goku’s eldest son and the one who can surpass his father. In the story of Perfect Cell, Gohan proved his potential by being able to reach Level 2 of the Super Saiyan. It’s amazing because so far no Saiyan has done it.

During the time of the Majin Buu Saga, the god Old Kai helped Gohan unleash his true potential. By unleashing this potential, Gohan can easily reach Level 3 Super Saiyan. Also, he won’t be a level 3 Super Saiyan, but he already has tremendous power in his ultimate Gohan form. This supreme power of Gohan is so great that it can even threaten one of Dragon Ball Z’s deadliest threats, Super Buu.

8. Kid Buu

Majin Buu is the main enemy in the Kid Buu Saga and is said to be one of the deadliest enemies that Goku and his companions have to face. As the name suggests, Majin Buu has a very childish personality. He was like a spoiled child, but worse still, he had no conscience or sorrow.

When he was a child, Majin Buu would often say phrases like “Majin Buu, kill me!” In a childish way, his vocabulary was therefore very limited. It sounds childish. Do not confuse him with a simple child. In fact, Majin Buu is the strongest, purest, and most sinister version of Buu. His insane personality and ruthless and destructive spirit have made him one of the deadliest enemies Goku has ever faced, not only for his strength but also for his insane character.

7. Hirudegarn

Originally a statue of the demon god who purified the minds of the inhabitants of the planet Konatsu, Hirudegarn was eventually corrupted by the Wizard of Kashval and became a terrifying Dragon Ball villain. Hirudegarn is a formidable monster and his only goal is to destroy everything in his path. To some extent, it is a true destroyer with no brain, emotion, conscience, or remorse.

Hirudegarn is a very powerful statue, as seen in the wrath of Dragon Ball Z Dragon. It has changed shape many times. In his final form, he can easily defeat level 2 Super Saiyan Gotenks. When the Level 3 Super Saiyan Gotenks fired their Daidai Continue rockets at Hirudegarn, the massive attack was briefly delayed. Finally, Goku Super Saiyan Level 3 had to destroy Hirudegarn with the ultimate move, Dragon Fist.

6. Janemba

Janemba is the main enemy of the movie Dragon Ball Z Fusion Reborn. From the outside, Janemba looks like a big yellow monster with strange holes in his shoulders and stomach. However, he’s actually a true embodiment of evil, a sinister strong enough to surpass Level 3 Super Saiyan Goku and Vegeta.

When a large monster first spawns, it is easily defeated by a level 3 Super Saiyan, but when it transforms into a second character everything changes and becomes very difficult. In his second form, his body becomes a humanoid with red skin and purple armor. His strength also increased significantly, and the cooperation of Super Saiyan Level 3 Goku and Vegeta could not defeat him. Due to his immense strength, Goku and Vegeta had to merge with Gogeta to defeat him.

5. Golden Frieza

Frieza was first introduced in the Dragon Ball Z animated series as the main enemy of the Frieza saga. He was a world conqueror until he was defeated by Goku and then torn apart by Fuchart Trunks. But in Dragon Ball Z Revival F, this terrifying villain is finally back as a stronger and more sinister villain than before.

After losing to Fuchart Trunks, Freezer was revived by the power of Dragon Ball through the efforts of a sloth. Knowing that his mortal enemy, Son Goku, has achieved many feats and is even more powerful, he recognizes the need for stronger powers. And he actually embarked on training in hopes of defeating Goku for the first time in his life.

Finally, it’s time for Frieza to gain even more power. It’s a golden freezer form that can even match Goku’s Super Saiyan Blue. At the end of Dragon Ball Z Revival F, Frieza was finally defeated by Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. He pushed Frieza to the point where he was forced to destroy the entire planet. Without Whis’ time-extending power, Earth could not have existed with Vegeta.

4. Vegeta

Vegeta was originally shown as an evil Saiyan prince who wanted to rule the Earth. He is very arrogant and proud of his strength until Goku defeats him and Vegeta later becomes a rival of Goku. Vegeta did not stop training to cross Goku and reached the Super Saiyan and the Super Saiyan of 2nd level, but while Goku obtained it he could not reach the Super Saiyan of 3rd level.

As we said, Vegeta can still reach Super Saiyan Blue and fight the tie with the Golden Freeza. On the contrary, he overtook the Golden Freezer, which had to destroy the entire planet. However, Vegeta is as powerful a fighter as Goku, and thanks to the fusion of Vegeta and Goku, they have defeated many dangerous threats.

3. Son Goku

Goku is the protagonist of the entire Dragon Ball Z series and is by far the strongest human hero in Dragon Ball Z (except for fusion forms like Vegetto and Gogeta). He is probably the first living Saiyan to level up more than Super Saiyan, especially Super Saiyan Blue in the Battle of Dragon Ball Z God.

Son Goku is a typical hero with no selfish desires for power, control, or money. His main goal is to learn martial arts and ultimately protect the planet when the time comes.

He has fought a variety of powerful enemies throughout the series and is very brave. With his signature Kamehameha Move, Spirit Bomb, and Caio Ken Double Edge technique, Goku can fight one-on-one with almost any character in Dragon Ball Z. Therefore, he’s the third person on the list.

2. Beerus

Beerus is an anthropomorphic Egyptian cat, usually dressed in Egyptian clothing. He may look small, but don’t underestimate him just for his appearance. He is, in fact, the god of destruction of the universe 7 whose mission is to destroy planets that endanger the balance of the universe.

Beerus, the Destroyer, has enormous power and strength (because it can easily destroy planets), and so far, easily all monsters in Dragon Ball Z, except his trainer Whis. In the Battle of Dragon Ball Z God, Beerus wakes up from sleep and seeks a new warrior who has defeated Frieza. Beers finally find Goku and test him for combat. Around this time, Goku tried to fight Beerus at Super Saiyan level 3 but failed miserably.

After that, Goku gains the power of the Super Saiyan God and fights against Beerus again. Goku can endure this battle much longer, but Goku has yet to defeat him. However, Beerus was happy with the battle with Goku and decided to save the earth from destruction.

1. Whis

We don’t know much about Whis’s personal history, except that he is a martial arts mentor for Beerus. The true range of Whis’s power has not been fully revealed, but from what we’ve seen, Wis is arguably the strongest character in Dragon Ball Z.

In the Battle of Dragon Ball Z God, Beerus says that Goku is the second strongest fighter he has faced. With that in mind, arguably the most powerful enemy he fought was Whis.

It looks like the speed of light, but it even has the power to reverse time. For example, in Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F, Wis brought back Goku and his teammates three minutes before Freeza destroyed Earth. And thanks to this, Goku was able to give Freeza a fatal blow to Kamehameha and managed to stop Freeza from destroying the earth.

In Dragon Ball Super, we have not yet seen the full power of Whis, but it is certain that he is one of the strongest characters in Dragon Ball and is more powerful than the main character.
