When will Harley Quinn Season 3 be released? The adult animated series, based on the DCEU superhero of the same name, has gained critical acclaim for its quirky visuals and dark comedy since its release in 2019.
However, after a few delays, many fans are guessing about the specifics of Harley Quinn season 3 and what spectacular follies the Gotham baddie would be up to next. Harley goes out to prove herself among Gotham’s criminal elite after breaking up with her violent ex-husband, the Joker.
We watched her vanquish both the Joker and Batman in the first season. The ponytailed villain confronted the ‘Injustice League’ in season 2 — a group of Batman’s usual opponents who were keen about ruling the city now that Batsy and the Joker were gone.
Season 2 concluded with a botched wedding, several explosions, and the Joker returning to his wicked ways after a time of amnesia. Needless to say, the last season left us with a few unanswered issues, a few cliffhangers, and a lot of excitement for Harley Quinn’s season 3.
Fortunately, after a year of delays, the new season is almost here. So, in preparation for Harley’s latest round of mishaps, we’ve compiled a list of everything you need to know about the DC animated series. Here’s all you need to know about the upcoming season of Gotham’s criminal queen’s show, including its release date, trailer, narrative, actors, and more.
After a long-awaited connection, Harley and Ivy fled Ivy’s and Kiteman’s wedding at the end of season 2. That’s right, the two Gotham women are finally together after two seasons of romantic tension.
We watched the two on a romantic journey, stopping in Paris and robbing a few banks along the way in the sizzle reel. With this new romance, though, expect some hot drama.
The sizzle reel briefly showed Ivy and Kiteman meeting with each other again, while Harley is seen balancing her new relationship while facing most of Gotham’s enemies, Batman, and Commissioner Gordon.
Speaking of relationships, we’ll ultimately see Batman dump his on-again, off-again girlfriend Catwoman in Season 3. After learning about the video, DC issued an official statement declaring, “Heroes don’t do that.” Yes, the caped crusader is terrified of foreplay.
DC has instructed the crew to edit the sequence; however, it is unknown if the scene has been totally removed or whether another se*ual act has taken its place. In any case, it appears that Batman will be getting frisky this season.
Aside from the Ivy and Harley narrative and the Batman and Catwoman drama, Halpern revealed that in Harley Quinn season 3, we will get a stand-alone Joker episode that would take us inside his twisted mind. Season 3 of Harley Quinn may potentially feature some new characters.
Patrick Schumacker, the show’s creator and producer, shared a spoiler on Twitter. He captioned the photo of director M. Night Shyamalan next to a chicken wing, “So thrilled for y’all to find out which new characters come up in season 3.
“It is rather evident that the joke reveals Nightwing’s debut in Harley Quinn Season 3. And it was revealed in March 2022 that Harvey Guillén had been cast in the role.
Halpern has also stated that Mad Hatter would feature in Season 3 as well. Mad Hatter, also known as Jervis Tetch, is a DC supervillain whose power is essentially brainwashing and hypnosis. He’s also a great fit for Harley Quinn’s wild series.
Puddin, good news! The core ensemble from the previous two seasons will return for Harley Quinn season 3. Kaley Cuoco will reprise her role as Harley, and Lake Bell will reprise her roles as Poison Ivy and Cheryl.
However, we may anticipate hearing some new voices in season 3. On Twitter, Schumacker confirmed that Sam Richardson will be joining the series in an unspecified capacity.

Harley Quinn Season 3 Controversy
According to Variety, DC Comics attempted to prevent a specific risqué deed from appearing in Harley Quinn season 3. Halpern claims “We had a scene where Batman was beating up on Catwoman. ‘You can’t do that,’ DC said. You just cannot do it.’ ‘Heroes don’t do that,’ they say.”
DC’s crew attempted to justify itself by stating “We sell consumer goods to superheroes. It’s difficult to market a toy when Batman is also attacking someone.” It’s uncertain whether the sequence was included.
