Love on the Spectrum Release Date

The reality show will premiere on Netflix on May 18, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET. If you live in the Midwest, the first season will be available on the streamer at 2:00 a.m. CT.

The first season will consist of six episodes, with each lasting approximately 30-40 minutes. The US version, unlike the Australian version, is rated TV-MA. The show received a TV-MA classification from Netflix due to the strong language used by the characters.

The language in the Australian version was rated TV-14, therefore it’s unclear why the US version is only for older audiences. Northern Pictures will also produce it, with executive producers Karina Holden and Cian O’Clery.

Critics have given the show positive reviews. Rebecca Nicholson of The Guardian gave it four out of five stars, writing that “at its best, this show is a sensitive, human celebration of difference, and of love.
