Warzone Season 3 is officially live, with new map updates, weapons, and even a monstrous event taking centre stage. However, with each cycle of CoD Battle Royale comes one substantial midseason upgrade.
Things are no different this time around as the Pacific chapter approaches its third Reloaded patch. While the first concentrated on performance issues and the second on Rebirth Island, the third appears to be building up to be a well-rounded content drop.
There’s a lot we already know about the upcoming major update, from gameplay enhancements to new features. So, here’s an early look at everything that will be included in the Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded patch.
Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded: When Will It Be Available?
While no specific release date for Warzone Season 3 Reloaded has been revealed, we can already make an educated guess. Season 3 premiered on April 27 2022. With the most recent Battle Pass due to expire on June 27, the halfway point is Wednesday, May 25.
Given the regular rhythm of midseason patches, Season 3 Reloaded is most likely to appear here. However, there is always the possibility of delays along the road. We’ll keep you updated with an official launch date as soon as we have it.
Season 3 of Warzone Pacific Has Been Reloaded With New Weapons
Starting with the Season 3 Reloaded patch, we already know that at least two new weapons will be added to the mix.
Following on from the M1916 Marksman Rifle and the Nikita AVT Assault Rifle in the Season 3 update, the H4 Blixen SMG and the Junkyard Jet Melee Weapon are also set to be released in the upcoming Season 4 update.
The H4 Blixen SMG, like other mid-season upgrades, will be available through a limited-time challenge following the Reloaded patch. While it is still unknown what the future challenge would include, it is safe to assume that certain SMG-specific activities will be included.
Meanwhile, as expected, the impending Junkyard Jet Melee Weapon performs similarly to the others, albeit with a unique animation. There’s no telling how this strong feature will be unlocked for the time being, but it’s safe to assume a melee-focused challenge following the Reloaded release.
Season 3 of Warzone Pacific Has Been Reloaded, With Audio and Camera Upgrades
While audio upgrades were originally planned for the start of Season 3, we now know they will arrive “later this season.” The exact date is unknown, but for improvements of this magnitude, the Reloaded patch is a fair bet.
Footstep audio and slide camera lock improvements are in the works, as mentioned in the most recent Raven blog post. Specifics on how these characteristics might be enhanced have yet to be published, but we’re likely to find out in the coming weeks.
Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded: Leaked Fast Travel System
Although new gameplay elements for Season 3 Reloaded have yet to be verified, early leaks indicate that a novel quick travel system is on the way.
Caldera, perhaps inspired by the Red Doors that debuted on Verdansk not long ago, could soon have a technique of instantly rotating from one side of the map to the other.
It’s still early days, so it’s unknown how this will work or how it will fit into the game’s existing storyline of creatures clashing on the island. We’ll keep you updated with any new information as Season 3 Reloaded approaches.
New Operator Mateo Hernandez Is Available
By acquiring the Battle Pass, you’ll gain immediate access to new Operator Mateo Hernandez at Tier 0, and this tail gunner from Task Force Harpy has a history of fighting for the Navy.
Purchasing the Battle Pass unlocks two Legendary Operator Skins for Mateo, including the all-black “Chingon” outfit with a hooded skull mask and knee-length cloak, though we’ll have to wait and see if this is as contentious as the dark Roze skin.
Caldera Iron Trials Have Arrived
The Iron Trials game mode returns to Caldera for Warzone Season 3, giving players a more difficult task. Although Operators start with a larger Base Health level, it takes longer to start recovering and the recovery amount is lowered.
You won’t find any free Loadout Drops, and higher-tier weaponry is even more difficult to come by. With fewer massive cash heaps and higher Buy Station pricing, you’ll need to make the most of the stuff you can get your hands on.
Warzone Update: Map Changes
Caldera will be in the spotlight this season, as Nebula bombs have been dropped on the island. It’s nice to see the map getting more love, considering it hasn’t seen much since the Pacific upgrade was launched.
The installation of a totally new POI is the most significant modification, although there are also alterations to the existing ones on the map:
Monarch Dig Site (New) — a mining project that was abandoned after huge skeleton fossils were discovered. It is situated between the Mine and the Ruins.
Peak (Changed) – The Peak has been fortified, with all structures completed and Monarch emblems painted on them, although it still commands a commanding view of the surrounding area.
Runway (Modified) — The jungle undergrowth has been removed, and Runway now includes barracks, hangars, and derelict planes to provide cover. If you wish to have a look about, you’ll also locate various watchtowers and other tall structures.
The tides have changed, revealing a new sandbar that will allow you to reach the Lighthouse without using the bridge. It also has some cover in the shape of moored ships.
Hold (New Gulag) – A new last-chance arena is located in the belly of one of the ships on the new sandbar in Lagoon. From here on, you’ll be fighting for re-entry into the map among barrels and a few hallways.
Warzone Season 3 is now online, with new map upgrades, weapons, and even a monstrous event in the spotlight.
However, one significant midseason enhancement arrives with each cycle of CoD Battle Royale. While there is no official release date for Warzone Season 3 Reloaded, we may make an educated assumption. Season 3 debuted on April 27th, 2022.
