An autopsy report says that the death of singer Bobby Brown’s son was caused by a mix of alcohol, cocaine, and the powerful opioid fentanyl.
In November, Bobby Brown Jr.’s body was found in his Los Angeles home. He was 28.
CNN got a copy of the Los Angeles County coroner’s report, which said that he had “a history of alcohol and drug use” and that his right arm had been cut.
The report said that Brown’s death was due to an accident because there were no signs of internal injuries.
His death was the latest bad thing to happen to the Browns.
The elder Brown, who used drugs in the past, was saddened by the death of his former wife, singer and actress Whitney Houston, in 2012.
She was married to him from 1992 to 2007. She drowned in a bathtub by accident just before the 2012 Grammy Awards. The coroner said that heart disease and cocaine were factors.
He was 48 years old.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the couple’s only child, was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Roswell, Georgia, home three years later. She lingered for nearly six months, first in a hospital and then in hospice care, before she died in July 2015.
The 22-year-death old’s was caused by drug overdose and immersion, which led to pneumonia and brain damage, the autopsy found.
