Joe and Bessy Gatto Have Separated
With the devastating loss of the great Betty White just weeks before her 100th birthday and Joe Gatto’s departure from Impractical Jokers, it has been a rough start to 2022; could things be much worse? Unfortunately, the situation has just deteriorated.
As millions of people worldwide prepared to ring in the New Year, comedian Joe Gatto stunned his followers by revealing that he and his wife Bessy are no longer together.
Joe startled his followers on New Year’s Eve with a severe Instagram post that revealed his job and life changes. Joe wrote, “I just wanted to let you all know that I will no longer be a part of Impractical Jokers.” Together with my pals, I have committed a decade of my life to creating this franchise, and I could not be more pleased with the results.
He said, ” However, I cannot continue due to personal circumstances. Bessy and I have mutually decided to separate. Therefore I must now concentrate on being the best father and co-parent to our two amazing children.”
Joe surprised fans of Impractical Jokers with not one but two unexpected turns. We are aware that Joe is leaving the renowned comedy ensemble for personal reasons (likely a romantic breakup), but why are Joe and Bessy divorcing?
Why Do Joe Gatto and Bessy Want to Split Up? They’ll Likely Split Up.
Joe and Bessy Gatto are splitting up after eight years of what seemed to be a perfect and happy marriage. Fans haven’t found out for sure why the couple broke up, but it’s likely that they didn’t get along, drifted apart, didn’t talk to each other much, or had problems with their families.
On December 31, 2021, Bessy also said something on Instagram, just like Joe. Bessy wrote this under a picture of her and Joe: “We love and respect each other, but we’ve decided to go our separate ways. Even though we won’t be a couple anymore, we’ll always be a family to our beautiful kids, and we’re looking forward to co-parenting.”
She said, “As we start this new part of our lives together, we ask that you respect our privacy. We’ll also keep helping animals and rescuing dogs, which we care deeply about.”
After Joe’s Leaving, is the “Impractical Jokers” Ending?
Impractical Jokers will never be the same without Joe Gatto, but Brian “Q” Quinn, Sal Vulcano, and James “Murr” Murray plan to keep making the show for TruTV. After Joe and Bessy made their statements, Q went on Instagram to talk about Joe’s departure.
“After working together for so long, we never thought we’d make Impractical Jokers without Joe,” Q wrote. “Even though we’re sad to see him go, we want to keep making people laugh, keeping in touch with the Impractical Jokers fans, and working with the other team members we think of as family. We’ll start making a new episode of Impractical Jokers in January, thanks to the support of our fans.”
There Are Sparkling Rumors That Joe Gatto and His Ex-Wife Will Get Back Together
Joe Gatto and his ex-wife Bessy Gatto have been spending time together, even though they broke up two months ago. This has led to rumors that they will get back together.
But a person close to Joe told Page Six on Tuesday that there is “nothing going on” and that the ex-couple is just co-parenting in a friendly way. “Joe said in his post on New Year’s Eve that he is focusing on co-parenting his children, and that’s exactly what they’re doing,” an insider says.
The “Impractical Jokers” star, who is 45 years old, said on Instagram on Tuesday that he and his wife, Bessy, 39, and their daughter, Milana, 7, went to an Imagine Dragons concert on Valentine’s Day.
“What a great night,” he wrote next to a cute selfie and video of the three of them. “Thanks to Imagine Dragons, our daughter could go to her first concert.”
“She was over the moon,” the comedian said of his daughter. “As were her mom and dad to see her jump and sing along like the little superfan she is. There was sadly no DRUM SOLOOOOO!!!!”
The comments on the post were turned off, which seems to have been done to stop people from talking about the couple. Bessy wrote on Instagram that she had gone to one of Joe’s stand-up shows with Milana and their 4-year-old son Remo to support him.
“That one time, Remo didn’t want to leave the stage,” she wrote as a caption for the video of her kids on stage with Joe. A follower said, “I hope and pray that your family will be healed and whole again! I’m glad to see this message.
Joe said on Instagram on New Year’s Eve that he was leaving “Impractical Jokers” because of “some problems in my personal life.” “Bessy and I have decided to split up on good terms, so I need to focus on being the best father and co-parent to our two great kids,” he said.
Bessy wrote something similar to this on her account: “Hi, everyone. We are going our separate ways with love and respect. Even though we won’t be a couple anymore, we’ll always be a family to our beautiful children, and we’re looking forward to co-parenting. Please respect our privacy as we start this new part of our lives together.”
They had been together for eight years. They didn’t say why they broke up. Bessy said she was “broken” in a TikTok video she posted a few days after the breakup news. The mom of two asked, “What’s that broken thing in your house that everyone just accepts and lives with?”
