If anime fans living outside the primary market of this type (such as Japan) already understand one thing, patience is an integral part of the game. The series, has so far produced two amazing seasons but is a classic example of anime not returning for a long time. With such a huge gap the fans are left wondering when will the season 3 come out or will it ever.
The anime is adapted from the very popular Japanese manga sharing the same name. The manga inspiring the anime adaptation was written by the artist ONE. It is also famous for its other important series, “One Punch Man”. Like his other works, “Mob Psycho 100” tells the story of a young man with incredible power, Shigeo Kageyama, or Mob. However, Mob lacks the skills needed to control the enormous influence he holds. Therefore, he must constantly monitor his emotions to prevent them from reaching “100%” and causing dangerous energy surges.
The fans are eagerly looking forward to the sequel of the first two seasons, although there is little official news from the studio that developed the first few episodes. Here is everything we know about the release date, cast and plot of “Mob Pyscho 100”.
So is it going to have season 3?
Since the end of the second season of 2019, rumours about the third season have been circulating in the fan circle. However, the creators of the show have yet to make any official statements about the next season.
We don’t know much about why there was a problem in producing Season 3, but the lack of content may not be a big problem. Considering that the previous seasons have covered a lot of content, but the final arc is still not adjusted, the comic series is sufficient to prove the rationality of the third and final season.
If the creator is approved for Season 3, we will make sure to provide you with the latest news.
Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 Release Date
We know that the COVID19 pandemic has caused huge losses to the global entertainment industry. It has stopped production and filming in many countries, and the consequences are still in the picture.
Season 3 of Mob Psycho 100 is expected to release in Japan in April next year. Tachikawa, the series producer, said he is evaluating the changes that can be incorporated into the new season. There is no official announcement regarding the release date for the third season.
How many episodes could it possibly have?
Although it has not been confirmed, depending on the history of the animated series, the highly anticipated season 3 may have a total of 12 or 13 episodes. The number is subject to change, so be sure to have reservations about this forecast.
The cast of next season
Given that the production of the English dub is quite close, the producer seems to have no problem letting the dubbing talent return to season two. If season 3 production begins in the near future, fans should have no reason to believe that the actors and actresses who played their favourite roles in the first two seasons will not be returning to the final chapter.
If this is the case, then Mob will be dubbed Kyle McCarley again, Chris Niosi will play Mob’s lying mentor Reigan, and the couple’s spiritual partner, Dimple will be read once again by Michael Sorich. Fans can also expect to hear Max Mittelman voice Mob’s brother Ritsu, and Mob’s crush Tsubomi can be handled by Ryan Bartley.
Other notable returning characters include Teru, the opponent played by Erik Scott Kimerer turned into a friendly opponent, the president of the Musashi body enhancement club voiced by Patrick Seitz, and the ambitious Tome played by Cherami Leigh.
