What Is Kakegurui’s, Main Story?

Hyakkou Private Academy is the setting for Kakegurui’s narrative. The children of Japan’s wealthiest families attend this exclusive high school. It’s ironic, though, that the students’ ability to win at gambling determines the order in which the school places them, rather than their grades or other attributes.

Students are ranked according to the amount of money they donate to the student government at the aforementioned school. As a result of their connections, popularity, and prestige, students who are well-liked by the gaming committee will rise in the ranks.

As a result of their lack of popularity, many students find themselves in debt, becoming house slaves and slaving over the desires of their peers. They are given “life schedules” for those who can’t pay off their debts, which will govern their destiny because they must repay the debt with their lives.

What’s Happened in Kakegurui Seasons 1 and 2?

After a few chapters, we learn that she has a psychopathic gambling addiction that is hidden beneath an adorable veneer. When she discovers how the youngsters from the upper socioeconomic strata cheat, she takes vengeance on them. So, what are Yumeko’s next obstacles to overcome? Season 3 of Kakegurui will present her with a fresh set of challenges.

Rei Batsubami, one of the characters created just for Kakegurui, appeared in a filler episode at the end of the second season. Audience members were eager to see what the next election will bring after this season’s climax.

Whatever happens at the start of Kakegurui Season 3, the story could pick up where the second season left off, or the writers could go in another direction and jump right into the conflict between the Momobami sisters.
